“Jesus drew near to them and said to them: To me has been given all power in heaven and earth. Go and teach them to carry out all the things which I have commanded you forever.” Matthew 28:18-20
So there it is, the contentious verse Matthew 28:19 from the Hebrew Shem Tov. Yet is it really that contentious? No, not really. Just go on Biblehub and see for yourself, 33 versions of the Bible right there, right now for you to read! Talk about a mixed up mumbled up shook world for my Lola! 33 masonic versions of nip and tuck and there are probably more. In fact, once you pop your cherry, or lose your scriptural virginity, you’ll find out that some folks are doing it in all kinds of ways (At the bottom of this post you will find a link to SDA Walter Veith doing a respectable and thorough job tearing a strip off the Douay-Rheims Bible in comparison with the KJV; he tours you through omitted passage after omitted passage, changed verses, different words and more). The point being that one should not get too attached to particular Bibles, nor particular verses for there have been losses in translation, and dare I say it some ‘errors’. Wink. Wink. I mean, you can’t even get a straight answer on The Lord’s Prayer these days!
“And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.”
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
“And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”
These are 3 different versions of Matthew 6:12 from respectively, The New Matthew Bible, The King James Bible, and The New Living Translation. I’ve now heard that in the ‘modern’ Anglican schools, they use forgive us our ‘sin’. What ‘sin’ exactly they are talking about I haven’t a clue, nor do I imagine do their students. Pray, tell me dear reader just what else might have been lost in translation?
At any rate, Matthew 28:19 is the number one silver bullet in the arsenal of all those which preach the Holy Trinity. The irony is that if one reads from Genesis through to Revelation it is evident that upon removal of this one pesky verse, there is no Trinity. Now, I know other verses will be hauled out in defence of the Trinity and cases will be made that indeed this Trinity exists because the Holy Spirit feels and grieves, but I can assure you dear readers the if you read from Genesis to Revelation you will find these pitiful arguments to be, well, pitiful. Of course, the ravening wolves that command your obediance are counting on you not reading and checking for yourself! So, check away mes amis.
Now dear readers, I feel the need to be upfront and honest here. The thing is, there is a relatively stiff proposition facing us and that is that once the word of God was received and put down, errors, intentional or otherwise naturally came into the successive versions and by the time we arrive at modern times, there are so many translations who knows what kind of nonsense has crept into the pages of the ‘Holy Bible’? Even ‘Holy Bible’ itself is misleading. It translates from ‘Helios Byblos’. ‘Helios’ means Sun and ‘Byblos’ was the city where the printing of the books took place. So, ‘Holy Bible’ translates as ‘Sun Book’. (More on that another time). We also have to recognize the simple sad fact of the many people and institutions that seek to conjure their own wild ideas out of the scriptures. So bearing that in mind, let’s recall the wise words of Messenger Charles who recently stated: ‘it is a case of sifting and sorting as always’.
So with that out of the way, let’s ask a simple question. If Jesus is real, where would those that oppose or hate Him like to sow deception in order to most effectively mislead people? If you said: ‘On the lips of Christ’, you win the prize! It shouldn’t be that hard to figure out should it? We watch politicians smear their opponents all day long putting words in their adversaries mouths endlessly. Obviously those opposed to Christ would do the same no/yes? Getting it in writing would be priority number one no/yes? I know. It’s a sad state of affairs out there folks, but something’s got to give. I’m afraid to say it but indeed there are (and it should be obvious), many with us which still worship Satan. Yet, even I was rather gobsmacked by the outright polishing of Satan’s image in the Jehovah’s Witness Freemason cult New World Translation Bible:
“Now the serpent was the most cautious of all the wild animals of the field that Jehovah God had made.” Genesis 3:1 *
Describing the serpent as ‘cautious’? Wow! That takes the cake. Even Biblehub translations use the word ‘cunning’, so there is obviously some serious tomfoolery afoot with the Jehovah people.
This little verse here would also seem to be a setup for some new world vision they may well go on to present to their followers. (Though I can’t be certain, there seems to be another clue with this ‘wild animals’ business instead of ‘beasts’ – I sense some Bambi action coming on or ‘New Age’ nature as sacred mysticism in the offing) My suggestion, if you are tinkering around those parts, is to leave now and don’t look back – and don’t let them get your bank details!
Now good old ‘Mother Church’, i.e. Vatican Rome, is selling it’s own particular brand of evil swill. Below is a desktop still from the Walter Veith presentation (linked below), that shows the various arrangements of the pre-Christ Pagan ‘Trinities’.
Now the thing that stumped me for awhile about Mr. Veith, was that after figuring out the trickery of Vatican Rome, whereby they have essentially made Mary the wife of God and Christ the Son so as to continue the pagan formula you see above (Lord of Heaven, Queen of Heaven, Messiah), Mr. Veith still declares faith in a ‘Trinity’. What gives? Well, what gives is this. Protestants have a very scattershot approach to all their ideas generally, which, is why there are so many denominations and why they bicker and squabble over the bits and pieces and loosely drag along behind mother church like grumbling dwarves or cans behind a wedding car. Walter Veith is a Seventh Day Adventist. For Mr. Veith, the ‘Trinity’ consists of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, not God, Mary & Son. Now, isn’t that accurate I hear you say? Matthew 28:19!!! Well, it may seem more sane and accurate than the Vatican’s obvious re-packaged paganism, except that it isn’t that accurate after all. As I have mentioned above, remove the contentious verse Matthew 28:19 and where good reader does this third superhero deity exist? Yet, it gets worse. Regarding this ‘Trinity’ one simply needs to let their fingers do the walking and investigate the myriad declarations of various Protestant churches and faith group websites and you will see for yourself, that 1) Matthew 28:19 is paramount and 2) this means the Godhead is either a trinity of 3 superheroes or one deity which, appears in 3 ways and you can see why their sheep are already confused!
Now, just to sidetrack with another contentious verse to confirm how messy things are in scripture land, here is a topper!
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14 KJV (Underline mine)
Straight away, can you guess who hates this verse with all the hatred they can muster? If you said Christ-hating, Christ-denying ‘Jews’ you win the prize! Can’t you hear the hissing, cussing and the gnashing of teeth? If you check their Mechon-Mamre Bible you will find the following:
“Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: behold, the young woman shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Underline mine)
So, a woman shall conceive and call her son Immanuel? Wow. How many Muslim boys are named Mohammed today? That a woman shall conceive is no big feat, totally ordinary in fact, and calling the boy Immanuel, well this could have happened many times. So much for a riveting prophecy! Yet, when you have to erase The Truth, these are the lengths to which you go to I suppose? Thankfully our sponsor sets the record straight:
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44
Ouch, well I guess that also clarifies something else about these wicked people; we know who their father is. Are you ready for a stiff scotch? Are you ready to take a fresh look or maybe a first good look at the scriptures?
Now, I know you are going to ask ‘how can you say this from Christ is true but Matthew 28:19 is not?’ Well, let’s ask a few basic questions. Firstly, if this so-called ‘Trinity’ were real don’t you think you’d actually find evidence of these three deities in equal interplay through the Scriptures? Secondly, were the disciples of Christ into being wayward or disobedient? Why did they baptise in the name of Christ alone and not in the name of any ‘Trinity’?
“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:37,38 KJV (Underline mine)
Thirdly, why would Christ instruct such a baptism when clearly neither the Father nor the Holy Spirit were crucified; only He was? Only He died for our salvation and only through Him can you be saved. Sorry. You can’t be saved by picking the right denomination and ganging up.
“Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?” 1 Corinthians 1:13 New International Version
This verse lays the case out pretty well. Why be baptised in the name of a ‘Trinity’ when it is laid out so succinctly here, yet, baptism in the ‘Holy Trinity’ is insisted upon because I suppose people cannot get it through their heads the idea that the lie was put on the lips of Christ. They claim they believe in God but can’t imagine that the Word of God might have been tinkered with. Do liars and psychopaths set their sights on the outskirts of town or capturing the very centres of power? Would anybody like some warm milk before bed?
Now, if you have been instructed to understand the Holy Spirit as some third deity buzzing about helping God and doing His work, yet never really being revealed or speaking, what happens when we get here:
“Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38 NKJV
Does that mean the Holy Spirit will show up with a box wrapped in fancy paper, a ribbon with a bow and something special just for you inside? Here is a version that kind of clears it all up:
“Peter answered them, “Every one of you must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus the Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift.” Acts 2:38 International Standard Version
No yes? There is no confusing what is going on here. This is exactly the crux of the issue by the way, but find a church today that 1) offers baptism in Christ’s name only and 2) understands the concept of receiving the Holy Spirit as a gift from God and call me when you do. They are rare as hen’s teeth. (I was given a very hostile rebuking by a particularly entrenched religious fellow just the other day for suggesting no ‘Trinity’!) It’s rough out there folks.
Now, another major problem with the KJV in its original rendition is the use of the word ‘He’ instead of ‘It’ when treating the Holy Spirit. (Exactly how I was given a good telling off just the other day too – ‘the Holy Spirit is a ‘He’!) Combined with the ridiculous use of Holy Ghost instead of Holy Spirit, this really seems to set the story on it’s ear and gives it a rather Shakespearian feel, as if the ghost of Hamlet were lurking about (When I was young I used to get an image in my mind of Jacob Marley from Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ LOL!), and it reads like a seperate book from the Old Testament where clearly we are dealing with the Spirit of God. New editions of the KJV seem to have cleaned up much of this confusion by using the Holy Spirit instead of Holy Ghost however, the ‘He’ business still lurks within its’ pages, which, can only mean the priesthood commands this nonsense. Of course this is one of the most basic translation errors possible. When conjugating verbs, third personal singular tense always refers to he/she/it. So why the ‘He’ when ‘It’ should clearly be used? Was that just a silly mistake? Or did the translators imagine, perhaps correctly that they could get away with such nonsense because the majority of people wouldn’t do the checking but just accept whatever they were told and repeat ‘Yes, sir. No, sir. Three bags full’! So, what’s up with this little translation error? What wicked little game is being played at the heart of this ‘Bible’ business ‘Sun Book’? How much nonsense and violent threat have people been reproached with due to the insistence on ‘He’ instead of ‘It’? So, for centuries now we have had people told the Holy Ghost can appear as a dove too? Yes, yes of course, but otherwise it just rattles it’s chains! And says what? Nothing. Some third deity in a ‘Trinity’!
So, having said all of that – go! Please, go find me this ‘Trinity’ because you won’t find it. Find me this ‘Trinity’ somewhere, anywhere in the Scriptures and I don’t mean to extend you an invitation to recite robotic pap. I mean show me how The Holy Spirit is a third person that makes it’s own decisions and has its own domain, because you won’t find it. What you will find is that The Holy Spirit clearly is an ‘it’; a force given by God, which, you dear reader may be lucky enough to receive if you are ready to repent of your sins and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:” Matthew 3:16
