All The Jews Fit To Print Part 9: Spiritual Slavery (Ai)

[Editor’s note; Ai appears in the title because this post features some Ai search material not because it has been written by Ai. Other posts of this blog that do not indicate Ai have no Ai search material therein.]

Lyndon Baines Johnson (aka LBJ), 38th President of the United States of America from 1963-1969, was a Christadelphian which, was a small Protestant denomination that began with John Thomas in the early 1800s (more information on their beliefs can be found here). LBJ was born in Stonewall, Texas (Lol!), and grew up in a house where his father, being a member of this group, propounded and evidently seared into LBJs’ brain that ‘The Jews are Gods’ chosen people!’ LBJ would go on to declare not only that ‘The Jews are Gods’ chosen people!’ but that ‘Jesus Christ cannot return until the temple is rebuilt!” Folks, this statement is perhaps the most perverse conclusion of scripture of all the perverse conclusions of scripture since the Reformation began and was not only a political earthquake at the time but a spiritual nuclear bomb that would obliterate the spiritual and political landscape of the United States of America and subsequently almost everywhere else in the world. This declaration was the beginning of spiritual slavery.

What do we do if we fundamentally disagree?

What do we do if we do not believe the Jews are ‘Gods’ chosen people’?

What do we do if we interpret, correctly in our view, that the scriptures are the history of the Old Covenant Israelite people that become New Covenant Christians?

What do we do if we fundamentally do not believe in any pending ‘Second Coming’ return of Jesus Christ because we understand that all such prophecies were fulfilled 2000 years ago from the birth of Jesus Christ through His Crucifixion, Resurrection and continuing to 70AD just as was prophesied by the Old Covenant Israelite prophets?

What do we do if we can plainly see there are no predictions of any third temple in the scriptures?

Apparently, we have to just stand by folks as church after church is captured and falls victim to this hideous destruction of The Truth Jesus Christ, Son of The Father and royal Judahite (never a Jew), as religious and political fanatics grab the mic and scream their assertions like Marxist culture warriors with their never-ending cascade of fraudulent claims, trying to win the day by sheer force and volume of argument; drowning everybody else out; waging threats; name calling; deploying various forms of verbal bullying and psychological intimidation.

Apparently, we have to stand by as religious propaganda is deployed to dovetail seamlessly and underwrite the political developments of the modern non-scriptural state of Israel all the while exploiting and utterly mutilating history.

Sadly, this type of militant behaviour has effectively made its way not only into churches, but also governments whereby the assertion that the Jews are ‘Gods’ chosen people’ is now poised to become a compete and total dogma; an effective slavery of the entire world, mental, spiritual, political, and financial.

It’s amazing to me how many people have come to believe that the prophecies of Daniel were somehow written about these very times; that other prophecies in the scriptures in the Old Testament from 3000 years ago were somehow written about these very times; that the Book of Revelation written almost 2000 years ago was somehow written about these very times!

Folks, this is spiritual slavery; 110% spiritual slavery.

Now sadly, in a recent and heated comment section exchange I was told I was not a true Christian because I reject ‘Futurism’ (belief in the delayed ‘Second Coming’ and the now imminent return of Jesus Christ in these alleged ‘Last Days’). As I have outlined in several previous posts why my rejection of this claim is so, we won’t get into the particulars here. Worse, during this heated exchange I couldn’t actually get any decent answer as to what specifically I was supposed to ‘Seig Heil!’ in the first place and how I wasn’t a true Christian. Suffice it to say then, that the level of madness surrounding this assertion of a now imminent ‘Second Coming’ is truly too much and frankly too much importance is given to it. To be roundly attacked over this question to my way of thinking just shows how badly fractured and shattered Christians have become; fanatic; dogmatic; scattered; divided and conquered. Sadly, it was ever thus for the Israelite people; tribal, clannish and arguing amongst themselves

Yet, apparently there is still more to deal with.

In the course of this heated exchange I was also told I should stop thinking like a mortal and think like The Father (Is that actually even possible?) Folks, I like to keep it humble. I was told that one thousand years for us is but a day in the life of The Father.

Now, why was I told that?

Well, it’s apparently because ‘Futurists’ rely heavily upon this idea to promote their belief of a delayed future ‘Second Coming’ of Jesus Christ. Have the futurists bothered to check how badly corrupted the timeline in their Bible is? Once again, heartfelt thanks MUST be given to BenBornAgain for his work in resolving the timeline destruction wrought by the Pharisees in their Masoretic Hebrew Scriptures which, were adapted by Jerome for his Latin Vulgate and have formed the Old Testament version of every English Bible translation since. Yet, the true timeline is available to us all in the Greek Septuagint LXX. The graphic below from BenBornAgain demonstrates the considerable timeline mutilation of the Pharisees in their attempts to alter scripture so as to deny Jesus Christ as the Israelite Messiah and keep their religious priesthood tyranny going:

Timeline Comparison

So, where do Futurists get this idea of a thousand years being a day for The Father? Well, they get it from none other than Peter, the rock upon whom the true church of Christ would be built.

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:17-19 KJV

Folks, we will at least have to give them credit for referencing Peter, but let’s have a look at what Peter is saying that futurists cite for their argument:

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:” 2Peter 2:1-9 KJV (Underline mine)

Now, I’ve started here in the beginning of 2Peter Chapter 2 so we can get our bearings on what Peter is saying. [Please note, I have underlined one particular point of focus, the day of judgement.]

Let’s carry on with the end verses of Chapter 2 and then go straight into Chapter 3:

“For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” 2Peter 2-21,22 KJV (Underlines mine)

“This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2Peter 3:1-10 KJV (Underline mine)

Here I have underlined more key points of focus in these verses. So let’s list them together with the first points:

the day of judgment – mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets – the commandment of us the apostles – to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them – there shall come in the last days – one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day – the day of the Lord – elements shall melt with fervent heat – the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Perhaps to people rushing in to this material, taking in all these ideas in a somewhat anxious, even desperate way (with the end pending!!), which, may well be the agitated state of mind of many these days as they do not know the peace of Christ (the peace that surpasses all understanding), it could seem that yes indeed, this ‘Futurism’ stuff is legit and it’s time to ‘get straight with God’ because ‘judgement is coming’? [Folks, many may well need to get sorted with The Father indeed, but not for these misguided reasons.]

Without people having any real and solid grounding in the scriptures it is probably quite easy to beguile them with such provocations? Have you noticed how The Internet (and media generally), does such a great job of whipping up hysteria? That is to say, that many hysterical minds may well be taken in by a particular interpretation of what Peter is saying. I hate to say it but religious hysteria appears to be the kind of spiritual abuse that opens up wallets and turns churches into quite lucrative ventures. Modern pseudo-Christian idolatry and ritualistic religious activity appears to pay well!

So, what is Peter actually talking about with the following points of focus?

the day of judgment – mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets – the commandment of us the apostles – there shall come in the last days – one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day – the day of the Lord – elements shall melt with fervent heat – the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Well, we’ve got ‘the day of judgement’ and the day of the Lord’. The ‘day of judgement’ is ‘the day of the Lord’. Then we have ‘there shall come in the last days’. If the argument for ‘Futurism’ starts here with a focus on these verses there is not much room for discussion. That is to say, if the proposition is that these very times today are actually the last days, the rest of the verses just fall in place. However, we should note a few things.

Firstly, looking at ‘the commandment of us the apostles’, does this actually apply to us? No. It certainly does not. Now, perhaps this is the kind of pedestal some are putting themselves on; they actually think they are apostles or are trying to present themselves in a kind of prophetic way?

Secondly, was Peter talking to us now or to the people in his time that were in the very presence of the apostles? Obviously, he was not talking to us for our unique benefit here in the 21st Century, but to people of his time. Thus, ‘to turn from the holy commandment that was delivered to them’ is obviously a reference to the Old Covenant Israelites of 2-3000 years ago to whom the holy commandment was actually delivered. Peter was telling the last of the Old Covenant Israelites about those that had gone before and the foolish decisions they had made; the casting away of their faith.

Thirdly, was ‘mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets’ directed at us here in the 21st Century or to those Peter was actually writing to that might have possibly even heard various prophets or have known of them owing to their being recent in living cultural memory? Again, it would make logical sense that Peter was actually talking to the people he was writing to and that was not us. Now, that doesn’t mean we in this time should not be mindful of the Old Covenant prophets but, in their proper context, particularly as those prophets have well and truly disappeared from living cultural memory and such amnesia is one of the biggest problems for todays’ Israelite people now New Covenant Christians; they have forgotten their own history and ancestry.

Next, we have the instruction from Peter that ‘one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day’.

[Now, this verse is actually quite interesting but before we get to why, I want to make it clear that when I was admonished to stop thinking like a mortal peasant and think like The Father as a thousand years is but a day, I was also informed that in the eyes of The Father Jesus Christ has only been crucified for two days. Now, there was nothing else forthcoming on this idea so I couldn’t get any further clarity on what the proposition was, and of course, as is the case with aggressive Internet comment section name-calling, there is often no follow through just a termination of the thread. This idea that Christ has only been crucified two days in the eyes of The Father I found quite odd. In fact, I had never ever heard of it before anywhere. Now, such an observation may be well and good, even spot on, but obviously, Christ has not been on the cross on earth for two thousand years. So I was left to suppose that there is a parallel reality for The Father. Folks, I will happily admit I don’t understand exactly what that means; is Christ literally on a cross up in Heaven? I can’t be sure what else is the belief with this idea, so until there is more direction provided by those that have further understanding we will have to just leave it there.]

Nonetheless, what might Peter be talking about with this idea of a thousand years being but a day for The Father? Well, we find an answer to that question in the book of Acts:

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Judeans, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Judeans and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:1-21 KJV (Brackets mine)

So, it would appear that what Peter is referencing in 2Peter (as he made clear in Acts 2), are the prophecies of Joel (or perhaps other ancient prophets), regarding the day of the Lord, which, as we can see in Acts was almost upon them with the initial events prophesied coming to fulfilment right before their very eyes. (Pretty mind-blowing stuff and perhaps the very type of mind-blowing stuff people today may wish they could experience?) Here, for reference is the prophecy of Joel:

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Joel 2:28-32KJV

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Joel 3:1,2KJV (Underline mine)

Joel Prophet Israel
The prophet Joel was a prophet to the Southern Kingdom of Judah, not the Northern Kingdom of Israel. He delivered his message to the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem, specifically calling them to lament and return to the Lord during a time of national disaster caused by a devastating locust plague that destroyed crops, including wine and grain, threatening the people’s ability to offer sacrifices in the temple.”
Joel (prophet)
“Some commentators suggest that Joel lived in the 9th century BC,[2] whereas others assign him to the 5th or 4th century BC.[3] The dating of his book is similarly debated; there are no mentions of kings that might help locate it in time. “

Looking at the two references above, the first being an Ai generated text, we should note that there is discrepancy around when the prophet Joel actually lived. Given the words of Peter, it would certainly make more sense that Joel actually lived, as some suggest, in the 9th Century BC. Why is that? Well, it is because Peter in his epistles makes it clear to those that are flagging in their faith that with The Father a thousand years is but a day and that the prophecies of Joel though they had been made perhaps a thousand years or more previously, were then in their time, at the time of Peter, imminent to be fulfilled. As we can see in Joels’ prophecy, we have at the time of Peter the gathering from various nations down into the valley of Jehoshaphat.

“And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.” Acts 2:7-11 KJV

Peter was not directing his comments to us but to all of those lost and scattered nations of Israel at that time and referencing what was so prophetically relevant to them at that time regarding the most epic moment that would soon unfold, the day of the Lord.

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” 1Peter 1:1,2 KJV (Underline mine)

We can take it straight from our Lord and saviour, which, was not dropping clues and prophecies on His own delayed ‘Second Coming’ but confirming for those with ears to hear that the time had been fulfilled and all was about to be delivered.

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:14,15 KJV

So, was Peter talking to those people in his time about how they should not lose faith because fulfilment of the prophecies would be in a few thousand years long after they’d be dead and gone? Or was Peter talking to those people in his time about how prophecies as much as a thousand years or more old were about to be fulfilled; the fulfilment was imminent? Was Peter talking to those people in his time about a future Israelite people that would be better off never having known the path of righteousness, that would be like dogs returning to their old vomit or sows after having been washed clean returning to wallow in their old filth? Or was he telling those very people in his time of Israelites that had indeed been shown the path of righteousness previously and had gone back to their filthy ways and their old vomit – and not to lose their faith because fulfilment was at hand?

With Peter giving the Israelites these admonishments, “The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire” we have to ask ourselves: Is this not the regular story of Old Covenant Israel? How many times were they pulled up and given warnings? How many times did they straighten out, then fall away and go lusting after other gods? Folks, that’s the whole story of Old Covenant Israel! What Peter was referencing was not a then distant and far away future phenomena but a past reality, and it’s the major plot of the Old Covenant; backsliding, stiff-necked Israelites that just won’t get their act together by God.

Now, perhaps what makes Futurism’ so alluring to people is the theory that some prophecies have been fulfilled and other prophecies not? Perhaps it is the very mystery of that proposition that allows messianic hucksters to seduce the less discerning with the hustle that they are in ‘the last days’ of 2Peter? Perhaps it is the very mystery of this interpretation that allows charlatans to recreate a kind of almost supernatural, messianic theatricality of the Old Covenant regarding New Covenant scripture with strong End Times’ language and warnings of imminent prophecy fulfilment?

‘Futurists’ would appear to have to explain how it is that some prophecies are fulfilled in the time of Christ but others still looming far off in the future yet to happen. ‘Futurists’ would also appear to have to explain why it is that while we are here in the New Covenant 2000 years post crucifixion, their faith seems to be jacked up on a kind of Old Covenant fire and judgement caffeine? Why are we supposed to fear the kind of Day of the Lord wrath and judgement that was so obviously foretold to Old Covenant Israel for centuries and not at all the message of Jesus Christ and of the Apostles? This is to my mind the biggest problem with the whole ‘Futurism’ idea; the direct importation of Old Covenant wrath and judgement into the New Covenant age which, is supposed to be post such events; an age of righteousness. The clear message of Jesus Christ is to the very people he is addressing; the judgement was upon them.

A troubling question is then to what extent do today’s Christians actually mute their faith in Christ because of this threat of pending judgement, getting hung up every time some messianic salesman of the Apocalypse berates them with threats of impending judgement? What kinds of false ideas are being sold to Christians with what is effectively agitation propaganda? Folks, this business of running people around by fear and provocation is NOT what Jesus Christ died for. It is bringing the threat of almighty wrath and judgement from the Old Covenant age into the New Covenant Age and that’s a pretty nasty business model; effective but vicious and deceitful.

Here in 2025 we’ve only seen an epic kind of ‘falling away’ from faith in Jesus Christ with the ‘Baby-Boom’ generation that started in the 1960s, a fifty-year period of Israelite, New Covenant Christian people beguiled by sex, drugs, rock ‘n roll and the rebranding and new marketing of all the old pagan gods and goddesses as the ‘New Age’ in esoteric books, movies and other cultural forms. In this view people could well look at what Peter wrote and see that ‘these Christian people have returned to their own vomit and are wallowing in their old mire’ which, is to say that they have effectively returned to pagan idolatry, or making up their own spiritual labyrinthine reasoning, or have run off to embrace a godless universe and spinning space ball scientism. So, it’s certainly possible to see how people might misread Peter’s words; I have done that myself in the past.

I understand people are vulnerable to agitation propaganda. Yet, the events in Palestine today are not the fulfilment of anything. That is to say, any number of people may well be scrambling and pointing to a verse out of Revelation or Jeremiah claiming fulfilment thereof is happening now. Yet, the modern state of Israel is a fraud Western Christian nations are constantly being bullied into supporting through the simple verbal abuse of being labelled ‘anti-Semitic’ if they don’t tow the line. The assertion that ‘the Jews are Gods chosen people’ is perhaps the grossest lie ever inflicted upon the Christian people and it must be challenged daily; the price of liberty is eternal vigilance to this question. The Jews declare this nonsense daily and it must be refuted daily.

Folks, todays’ Jews are not descended of Jacob/Israel. They have no place in New Jerusalem for they reject the Lamb of God. The modern state of Rothschild has effectively been a proxy state for endless Imperial control of the region justified under various false pretences of fulfilling bible prophecy for ‘Gods’ chosen people’. Moreover, the ‘Second Coming’ is not delayed. It happened as our Lord said it would, and once again, why should we doubt Him???

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:14,15 KJV

“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20,21 KJV

The true church is split between heaven and earth; the people are the church and are not conformed to this world.

“Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.” Hebrew 8:5 KJV

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” Hebrews 11:13 KJV (Underline mine)

“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” 2Corinthians 6:16 KJV

In contradistinction to the absurd claim of Vatican Rome that it is the true church, which is likely the source of the universalist idea that Christ died for everyone’s sins, the true church emerges through the seed of successive generations of this peculiar Israelite people with His Law written on their hearts.

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:” Hebrews 8:10 KJV

Yet, this church apparently has no idea that they are the church and why is that?

“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.” Romans 11:7,8 KJV

The true church has no idea who they are; they are sleepwalking.

So, if there are no cosmic, mind-blowing, cataclysmic, seismic, supernatural, almighty ‘End Time’ events forthcoming because the Day of the Lord was fulfilled as our Lord said it would be, perhaps this leaves a question in the minds of many, which is, instead of living each day anxious about looming events and impending wrath and judgement, what is the church to do instead?

“Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” John 6:29 KJV

In the 21st Century, the official churches are evidently rotten and corrupt; more political and carnal than spiritual. Increasing numbers of Christians now declare they are, rightly, non-denominational. Given that the snake rots from the head down this is a welcome development. With that said, perhaps it is time for more ‘lost and lapsed’ Christian people to consider the following sublime words for their enduring ring of truth:

“We recognise no sovereign but God and no King but Christ!’ Jonas Clarke. Lexington. 1776
